6 Months WOW

The girls had their 6 month well-baby check up on Monday and they kicked butt, let me tell you. Their doctor couldn't find a thing out of place on them, they are right on track (Never had a doubt).
Stats:

Mel:
weight 18 lbs 2 oz (90 percentle)
length 25 3/8 inches (50th percentle

Libby:
weight 17 lbs 13 oz (90 percentle)
length 24 3/4 inches (20th percentle)

The girls are getting so strong. Mel can roll over from front to back and seems to love sleeping on her side and libby is so so close to turning over herself

Catching Up (by Twin's Mommy)

This was our FIRST FATHER'S DAY! We are so proud of Daddy. He is doing an AWSOME job at taking care of the girls and bringing them up. Since I can't do it myself, I can't think of anyone who could do it better!
THANK YOU DADDY!!!

We were in California over Memorial day, and the Girls met the rest of their family. They got to meet their cousin Angelina for the first time. They had a great time together! Angelina was great with the girls, and hung out with them every minute she could! We all went to her "moving up" ceremony from third to fourth grade. That was very fun. Angelina sings like you can't believe!

Too bad no one had any fun with all this visiting! My mom and the girls in their NANA shirts for her birthday.

We caught up on birthday pictures with Grandpa too! The girls have Grandpa shirts too!

Sitting up is great!

This is Dad'stwins' Mom. Today was a big day of sitting up! first we sat propped up on pillows. Mel has been trying to sit up for weeks, but keeps falling forward because she can't figure out how to stop herself once she has started to pull forward to be upright. Libby hasn't been as interested in sitting, but when propped today she seemed to just understand about putting her hands out to help her stay steady. She is not strong enough to really sit for long.

These are big developments!

Then the new highchairs we ordered showed up! The girls seemed to enjoy sitting in them. I guess maybe tomorrow morning we might start them on their first cereal!! They are growing up so fast!!!

Libby REALLY enjoyed sitting in her new highchair! Maybe she is just thinking about the yummy foods she will eat from this chair in the future??!!

We will get more pictures of our recent California trip up soon!!
